Custom Dynamics Magic Strobe

I have been struggling with the idea of getting bag lights. I wasn’t sure if I wanted them for their looks or for the protection of being seen. I use a Hogworkz tour pack when traveling long distances, and there is no light on the bag. I was always concerned that the lack of rear lights might make me more susceptible to being rear-ended. Then came the idea of the Custom Dynamic’s Magic Strobes.

I watched a few videos about the strobes and then saw some in person, in action. They use your stock brake lights, which are already bright on my Challenger. The device manipulates the electrical impulses of the lights, allowing you to choose braking patterns. This is the cheapest option, and I would want the magic strobe with bag light anyway. So, I ordered it straight from their site.

Here is a link to the plug-in:

I am ok with working on my vehicles, like changing the oil. I have never done anything with electricity, so I was a little nervous about this. They recommended disconnecting your battery, but I had no trouble keeping the battery connected. You will see me struggle to disconnect the plug when you watch the video. I was worried about snapping the connector with too much pressure. I found that just pulling the tab with one finger in the opposite direction immediately popped it off. The rest really was a plug-in-play. You just aligned the poots and snapped them back together.

This is a project that anyone could do. I filmed each option of strobes so you can see what you will get. If you have an Indian, the tools provided will work, so you do not need to go out and buy anything. This is an easy fix if you want to add some protection to your back end.
